Overview

In 2020, an unprecedented time, WP BrandStudio created a respite from today’s stress and uncertainty by transporting our engaged readers to Florida in new and innovative ways, which allow readers to daydream of their next escape, life’s daily stressors feel more manageable.

We created a meditative soundboard experience where users can choose from “sounds of Florida” like waves crashing on a beach in Destin, a distant conga drum beat in Miami, ambient wildlife in the Everglades, or native Florida birds singing.

KPI/Objective

  • Campaign objectives: To put readers in a travel state of mind and feature Florida as a great place to visit.

  • Primary KPI: Pageviews and Unique visitors

  • Secondary KPI: Social engagement

  • Audience: Age of 25-54, interested in travel, household income above $100K

Social distribution

By producing an interactive Instagram Story crafted specifically for social audiences distributed beyond The Washington Post properties, we received huge success on social. The content was amplified across social channels to audiences who met key target demographics. Presented below are a series of static screens and a video demo.  We saw particularly strong performance on Facebook with a significant volume of referrals and positive engagement.
