Designer from IBM Design Studio: Shanghai need a new way to introduce themselves during the meet up, workshop, presentation or design events.  For both formal or informal events.


Research Process

By running a affinity diagram workshop with designers, I identified the pain point that they have when they social with other organization or company.


Pain point- in ganeral

  • It's hard to join a conversation

  • Match contact information and the person

  • Need to know their job

  • Can't match name with person's name

Pain Point - Using technology tool

  • No net work

  • Battery died

  • It's impolite to use cell phone in some occasion

PAIN POINT- By using traditional business cards

  • Too many cards

  • Too many space

  • Can't match cards with the person

  • Not very easy to carry


Problem & solution

Through the pain point I found three main problem that they have, so for each problem I designed a solution to solve them.
